Our annual Field Prep Day will be held on Saturday April 1

Please arrive at the white tent at the main diamond (Ross & 41st Avenue) at 9am to help us prepare the field (scoreboard, fences, field maintenance) for the upcoming season. We could use all the help we can get so we hope to see you there.

South Van Little League will be holding umpire clinics for all interested players on April 1.

Umpiring is a great way for your child to learn more about the game of baseball and develop important life skills such as leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Anyone who wishes to umpire this season should attend. Adults interested in learning how to become an Umpire are also welcome to attend.

Clinics will be held Saturday April 1 at the Rookies Diamond at Memorial South Park.

Umpire Training For: Majors & Minors games
Age: Majors age or older
Time: 9am-10:30am

Umpire Training For: Rookies games
Age: Minors age or older
Time: 10:30am-11:45am

Umpire Training For: T-Ball games
Age: Rookies age or older
Time: 12:00pm-1:00pm

The SVLL executive team would like to invite all of you to join our team of dedicated parent volunteers to help continue the tradition of keeping us the envy of volunteer run communities in Vancouver. Beyond team parents/team duties/coaches, we are always in need of more volunteers to assist us with the organizing of our league. If you are looking to be more involved to help us become part of the solution to our many areas we want to improve upon, please give us a shout!

Most Executive and Coordinator positions involve no more than five hours of volunteer hours per month. We are currently in urgent need of one or more Concession Managers, Equipment Managers, and Division Coordinators (T-Ball and Rookies). Many of our current Board members and Coordinators will be graduating with their children within the next year or two and SVLL is in need of our next generation of core volunteers to keep the show going!
